I love monstercat they are pretty amazing. I found out about them through a friend and I was hooked once I had a listen.

Yes they are an amazing label covering the latest from all over the world, and not just the famous ones. And they've got a huge amount of vids on their channel, all neatly set in genres, daily updates and podcasts.

Yeaaaah.... I didn't find that one a super track but it's ok.

I found some oldies (like 7 - 2 yo's) by DJ Marky. He's from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and he makes DnB sound like Soul to me. He's got a way with Liquid as well lately, mostly co-producing his records with his friends now. I like him and XRS most. His last album "The Master Plan" was absolutely fabulous and hard to get. He's doing podcasts lately as well on YT.

I'll be posting a few this weekend for you to listen. Not real super tracks compared to what I listen nowadays, but still great listens if I may say so.

Enjoyed that? Me too! It's been a while, but I looked it up especially for you! I think Marky and some others are really at the base of DnB and Liquid.

Now for that radio station of mine to come alive (Sammy FM? duh & puke ...) I really need your input. What EXACTLY should I be doing?

These tracks are pretty cool to listen to very mellow which I do enjoy. If you are gonna be starting a radio station you need to find a specific taste. You don't want to mix a bunch of different styles together unless they complement each other. Radio stations are successful based on the audience they target, how up to date the music is, and what combinations are needed to satisfy the audience. One thing too is you have to do some voiceovers to get the personalized flavor involved or else you will lose your audience. If your radio station isn't unique it won't be able to compete but I would just add maybe 2 different genres that are similar and compliment themselves and make some cool voiceovers (don't be nervous) you want to be smooth on the radio
